HP Probook 4525S

I have an old HP probook 4525s and I am wondering if anyone has had success with doing a diy egpu project. I recently purchased the beast and I am able to get it to power up but no luck with it recognizing the connecting video card. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance
