runix18
After I upgraded to A11 unlocked bios the sound card is not recognized anymore in windowsThis problem is not all the time and is radomly occuring.I found a temporary solution and that is to revert to optimal settings / restart / and then do again all modifications for the PEG and everything /and restart againIts uncomfortableI was wondering if exists a permanent fix for this issue? godfafa
Are you sure it happened after applying unlocked bios?Because your problem is very known bug of early version m17x R4 MOBO.It's a hardware problem and AFAIK it can't be fixed. You have to change MOBO. Pankas
What was the reason for getting a11 unlocked, apart from having more freedom, BSOD's or something else? MOBO about 400-500 dollars, almost the price of barebones . best of luck

runix18
The hardware it's ok. It beeps in the diagnosis tests, but after restart still no sound, the only solution i found it's to reset bios to default values and after remake the settings...- - - Updated - - -Ive got to say that this doesn't happen all the time, its pretty random, it's more often when i plug in the speakers and after headphones... Lavaflow
I've had this same problem for a while, and as far as I know it had nothing to do with a BIOS update. If I unplug my headphones and restart, it usually fixes itself, and if it doesn't, restarting again does.
