BurningFiery
Hello and thank you for reading , I've been having issues with Bioshock Infinite. Every time I am about to go into a new area, I go from 60 to about 10-20 for at least a minute until I get out of the general area. -Gt 755m -i7-4700MQ Note, both overclocked. mw86
It's not likely your temps or anything like that because your fps levels off again when you leave the general area. I haven't played into the game more than setting it up once but what you could do is disable various graphics on by one in the menus for graphics in the options till you find the one that may be causing the lag. If none of them are causing it perhaps check temps and log gpu and cpu speeds and loads as well using Throttle Stop to log GPU and CPU throttling or the log function of GPUZ for the gpu. Some of the graphics could be fairly strong for the 755m depending on the way you have the Nvidia settings and in game graphic settings ie Antialiasing and the other filters and effects these could cause low fps in certain high polygon count scenes and many others such as scenes lighting can effect the individual lights rendered in a scene all increase the load on the gpu and cpu depending. Best bet is monitor what is going on and check the logs.
