omega939
Hello guru's I would just like to confirm if My MSI GT60-ONE with a 240 watts ac adapter and its stock GPU/CPU cooling is sufficient enough to handle the GTX 880M. Or do I have to look for another GPU/CPU heatsink? like the ones with the GT60-2OD edition? like this one on the picture? And also, will the vbios of @svl7 universal to any brands? Just plug and play (auto install of windows drivers?) Many thanks Guru's
svl7
I wouldn't know about the cooling since I never had an MSI, but I guess if you have proper die contact it will be possible to cool it well enough. 240W should be sufficient unless you head for benchmark world records. The vbios works on the msi board, that being said, MSI has sometimes some special stuff in their bios... if it doesn't perform properly then it might needs some adjustment for the MSIs. omega939
Thanks @svl7 for the info.. When I get one, then I need to back up the vbios first before updating to your modded vbios.
Zanger
For GTX 880M you need new cooling radiator.
