nkjmin Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 So i just finished doing the first rounds of upgrades on my y400, and now i am wondering if there is anything i can do about this low resolution screen. Has anyone had some experience upgrading the screen. I know it might not be much but minimum i was thinking of upgrading the y400 with the 1600x900 screen from the lenovo y410p, but i do wanna aim higher and get something with 1080p. I saw the Alienware 14 R1 screen is 1080p and was wondering if they could potentially be compatible. Anyone have any in puts? p.s. with upgrading i am concerned with voltage settings for the new screen and such, and is there even a whitelist on the screens ? 0_o Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
