Hi guys,

sorry for my language, i am french and not realy good in english :)))

I propose a little review for this computer:

GX60 @ A8-5550M ES 4.0Ghz

In fact the 7970M in the GX60 is not realy used with the A10-4600M, and we found a A8-5550M ES unlock and you will seen that this processor is perfect pour this noteboocK

The GX60:

A8-5550M ES @ 4.0Ghz

8go à 1600Mhz (9/9/9/24)

DD750Go + SSD 90GO

the 7970M @ 1020/1560

i use W7 64b with overdrive and PSCHECK

Work - yes, but not necessarily very well. You could end up with a black screen, requiring a blind flash.

ok thank you, blind flash ( without see what i did, i have done it in the past... )

i use VBE but it's seem's not realy used cause when i put more than 1.075v the GPU freeze

for exemple:

1020/1560 @ 1.075 that OK temps max 80° games OK, benchmark OK

1020/1560 @ 1.100 that KO games KO, benchmark OK/KO

That why i would like to try another bios or another utility to flash.

Do you know if vbios patcher work with MSI 7970m bios?

Ps: sorry for the language i am french and bad an english.

Oh I was looking at it on my phone and didn't see that only the top one was overclocked.

In fact the CPU is An AMD A8 5550M ES @ 4.0ghz ( 4 cores ) your 3920xm ( 8cores )

====> score little better than à I5.

It's correct cause the fully GX60 cost 800€ it's a good ratio perf/pri no?

i buy 110€ the A8-5550M es

this night i flash with the gx60 unlock bios and try vbiospatcher and tell you if it's ok

i come back

have you an idea with my pb @ 1.1v why gpu freeze

1020/1575 ok @ 1.075v

1000/1575 freeeeeeze @ 1.1v :confusion::confusion::confusion:

Try dropping your memory slightly. 1575 is very high on memory with no increase in memory voltage.

Also where did you get that CPU? My mom has a trinity laptop that an unlocked ES would be very nice for.
