Rolle
I just got a W230ST and have a similar problem. The error messages are different, sometimes it is Nvidia kernel or DirectX component that causes BSOD. I've tried all drivers that were listed on Nvidias website for GTX765M, but only 2 of those worked; the others wouldn't install saying no compatible hardware was found. So I tried 326.80 BETA and now using 327.23 WHQL, BSODs happening with both. If I'm not using the Nvidia GPU there are no BSODs but sometimes the computer just hangs and I have to hard reset it. I presume it is either a faulty driver (which brings the question why do only a few people have problems and not everyone) or faulty hardware (which will be extremely hard to prove if I try to return it, since most of the time the laptop is just fine).Oh well, I'll wait for the next Nvidia BETA driver, maybe it will improve things. gnikolaides
I just notice that when I switch on my w230st when it boots to windows 7 pro wifi takes a long time to connect. Is that a bios issue or something else? My adapter is Broadcom 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter
John Keel
The Nvidia card in the W230ST somehow got a different ID then all the other CLEVO units (like W350STQ and W370ST), for some time you could not install drivers from the NVIDIA site, it wouldn´t find compatible hardware, the only solution was to mod the driver. But more recent Nvidia added the ID to their drivers, i think only the latest final and the current beta. For all my testing i found that this latest combination works like a charm, been rock solid for sometime now:Intel HD 15.31.17.64.3257NVIDIA 327.23Bios 05 and EC 05 or Bios 06 and EC 05please check your versions, hope this solves your problems. Also if your updating the bios be sure you´re using Hotkey 8.0124 or latest (not related but also trouble maker lol)
