OnePingOnly Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 Hi all,in the service manual of the p170em on page b16 the schematic of what seems to be an edp connector is given. Does anyone understand how the igp and dgpu signals are connected to this connector. It seems that DP_DCLK# and iGP_eDP_CLK# are both connected to pin 1 (similar for the other signals). Or should I read this schematic differently?By the way, why has clevo chosen this edp connection. The lcd is still connected by lvds from the pch.As I understand from optimus docs, the framebuffer of the dgpu is sent to the framebuffer of the igp throught pci-e, then via fdi to pch and then on to lvds, display port and hdmi.Frank Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
