Clevo P370SM benchmarks?

Recommended Posts

is there any benchmark out there for clevo p370sm with i7 -4930mx and 8gb sli gtx 780m

and i'm in london, any idea where can i find the cheapest marker for clevo p370sm (with i7-4930mx and 2*4gb gtx 780m sli ) (ram 8gb is fine)

i've seen eurocom and it's about 3000 pound (vat inc.) and then pc speatialist sells it for 2600 pounds (inc vat) so are there any more cheaper ones?

to say ther truth, it doesn't matter if it's clevo, but i want a laptop that has at least 8gb ram, i7 -4930mx and 8gb sli gtx 780m

I just bought a very similar configuration

SANTECH G37 (italian reseller model, based on Clevo P370SM3)

Intel Core i7-4930MX

32 GB DDR3L 1.600MHz CL9

2x Intel 525 Series 240GB in Raid 0 (mSATA)

2x Samsung 840 Pro 512GB in Raid 0 (SATAIII)

17,3" LED 120hz 3D FullHD 1.920x1.080 NO-Glare 72% NTSC

2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB in SLI

Blu-ray Writer 6x

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

English Keyboard (EN)

Windows 8 Professional 64bit

Tucano AreaPlus Bag

Zero Bad SubPixels Guarantee

Additional 330W PSU with power converter box (for 400+ watt extreme overclocking of both CPU and GPU)

As soon as I'll get it (1-2 weeks) I'll post some benchs, both stock and OC ;-)

Just received my machine

Santech G37 / Clevo P370SM3

Intel i7 4930MX

32 GB DDR3L 1.600MHz CL9

2x SLI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB

17,3" LED 3D/120hz FullHD 1.920x1.080 NO-GLARE 72% NTSC

2x SSD 240GB Intel 525 mSATA in RAID0 (C: for OS)

2x SSD 512GB Samsung 840 PRO in RAID0 (D: for DATA)

Blu-ray Burner SuperMulti 6X

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

Windows 8 Professional 64bit

Zero Bad SubPixels Guarantee

Dual 2x 330W PSU

Stock is around 12k P / 14k Graphics on 3dMark11.

With modded vBIOS and a slight GPU-only OC (950/2800), I easily break 13k P Score and 16k Graphics score.

I still need to OC the CPU, had no time so far.

Temperatures even with this OC are quite good, when gaming they stabilize around 75c for one GPU, 70c for the other, with fans in full-blast (FN+1). Furmark destroys the machine, with main GPU going as high as 92/93C, the other in the low 80s. I will try to repaste and see if things improve.

If you need anything else just ask ;-)

Wow, great rig! Congrats) does the system get hot while gaming/normal use? Did you try 3D gaming, how does it feel?) Really interesting to see what MX CPU is capable of

P. S. As far as i know 780m scores almost 16k gpu on stock in 3Dmark11 and with 980/2800 1.025v should be around 18k gpu

While gaming/benching, It maxes around 75-80 (depending on game) on main GPU, and around 70-75 on the other, even with GPU mild OC (no OV or CPU OC though).

Furmark instead burns the GPUs down and make them go FAAAAAST to 90+, but that never happen with anything else.

3D Gaming takes a while to accustomed, especially to 100% depth, but once you do that.... WOW. Fuck. WOW. The Witcher 2 @1080p/3D 60+ fps with all enabled it's... unbelievable.

For the MX CPU, still have to understand how to properly overclock this beast to 4500+ mhz, I'm a total XTU n00b, will try with easier throttlestop first, didn't have time so far.

That can be *MAYBE* be done, but with a fully optimized system.

With a standard system (windows 8 pro standard installation, all services & drivers active, tons of stuff in notification area loaded, etc...) it's around 14-15k on STOCK and 16-17k on mild OC (<= 100/150), for GPU.

For reference, check 3dMark11 result page, or here: HTWingNut's Sager NP9390 / Clevo P375SM Review!

Of course, with extreme overclocks, like 1100/3000, and full optimization, also 20k GPU can be obtained... ask jonksss!!!! :-)

What do you thing about this?

And what is with OC haswell cpu? Still blocked?

With Haswell CPU, you can OC a bit (200/400/600 mhz) on 4700/4800/4900 with XTU.

With 4930mx, you can freely OC what you want.

Once we have a proper modded bios from PREMA, probably we can also freely OC the other non MX cpus. Prema said it's coming for SM series.

Regarding the score, with a very light OC you can easily get your 680M SLI score.

If you are willing to dig deeper and try a stronger OC, we know from johnkss that the 780M SLI can go stable up to 1050+/6000+ @1.050/1.100mv, easily reaching and surpassing 18/19k GPU score on 3dMark 11.

Johnksss has a crazy 20k+ GPU score on that, but that's a bit extreme.

Once I have time, I'll humbly test my MX cpu and some further GPU OC/OV on mine too.

My personal goal is to able to game continously at 4.5 ghz CPU and 1050/6000 780M SLI.

We will see if I can achieve it :-)

yep, know about the scores) you can check the ones i've posted a few weeks back and compare them to yours

*Official Sager NP9380, NP9390 / Clevo P370SM, P370SM3, P375SM Owner's Lounge** - Page 37

for everyday gaming i used 1006/2800 1.037v clocks and temps never went higher 80C for GPU1 and 75C for GPU2 with FN+1

There's also a TS 6.0 Beta released, may be it has Haswell support as well. 4.5Ghz for CPU would be very nice indeed)

Yeah, that seems much better now) are you gaming at these clocks? Did you try TS for CPU OC? Dunno if it has support for Haswell

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4

The clocks are stable, I could game with them, but since I'm not fully confident with running 4+ hours a day with 1.1v and 90+ degrees on GPU0 for the long term implications, I usually game at 950/6000 stock voltage. If the game really requires (like the witcher 2 with ubersampling in 3D vision), I push 1000/6000 1.05v, but no more than that for gaming.

It's more than enough to game everything at 1080p even in 3D anyways, so why bother? ;-)
