  1. @Prema Do you know if heatsinks on P775DM3 differ if you choose 1060/1070 or 1080 GPU? I remember first revision P775DM had thicker HS only with GTX 980 in it. And why there's a 400g weight difference between FHD and 4K panels? Is this 4K display really that thick/heavy? Thanks
  2. @Prema Any chance you can share a picture of P870DM3 mobo? Any way to compare it to the original P870DM?) Tnx Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. Hi guys) Did anyone encounter Code 43 on their GTX 980M/970M in Device manager? I think my 980M in R4 is dead. I can install any kind if bios with no problem, even the drivers seems to install fine. But upon reboot right click on mouse on the desktop doesn't show NCC and no info at GPU-Z. Checked both Win 8.1/10, PEG/SG, no luck( A11 modded bios. Regards
  4. @Prema Thanks) Have another one... So if reseller sells P775 or P870 with 120Hz screen this means the gpu's in there are not G-Sync capable or they are all the same this time around? Any chance a 120Hz LCD laptop can be upgraded to 4K G-sync panel (including P670RS which i guess is still 75Hz)? Regards Aorus is prepating some nice 120Hz 15.6" FullHD and 120Hz 17.3" 1440p g-sync screens, so i guess the other vendors follows the suit later on. Though, not clear if they are IPS.
  5. @Prema So all the fans on P870DM2/DM3 single and dual configs are 12v? Also, do you know if MSI 120hz (wich has g-sync, btw) is the same ahva used in clevo? Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Do you think you can manage it to work properly with modded vbios as you always do?) I guess Next gen after pascal (probably Volta) is the last to use MXM boards in laptops. If not this gen(

I think both MSI and Clevo will release 1080M sli laptops with different boards. So, Prema, you're not impressed with the new mobile card? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

The same with desktop chips. Pascal is Maxwell on steroids) But it runs dx12 games a little better, though. As i understood it's an M version that costs like 980M and not like 980. So if 1080M is ~65% faster than 980M (3dmark fs) for the same price and can do sli (i hope), great time for an upgrade) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

So we have a user with the actual GTX 1080M or 1080 or whatever it is that has 2k cores based laptop) More tests coming... http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/pascal-what-do-we-know-discussion-latest-news-updates-1000m-series-gpus.763032/page-399#post-10279094

This was at Computex MSI booth under GT73 Titan. It says Wide-View 120Hz and 94% NTSC (and that is 100% adobeRGB coverage) screen. So it could be IPS/AHVA panel. I don't think they made a mistake there with NTSC and not sRGB. There're no TN panels with such wide color gammut available AFAIK.

But we still have hopes for 4k 120hz 17" display by the year end. Rumored to be ips, i guess) But after that TN news i'm no longer confident. 4K 120Hz IPS with 100% adobeRGB is like a dream Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Mr. Fox It's not that i was referring to new AW as if it makes a revolution on a gaming notebook market. Just as a thought of Pascal being so close to launch with all the vendors presenting their laptops around the same timeframe) I wonder if there is any sort of SLI HB bridge for mobile GPU's.

If this screenshot was made from 15''cher then no doubts it's an M card. But while it was done on P775DM it could either be M or full fat or an ES chip or smth else. I just really hope 2k core card is 1080M and it can be sli'd in P870DM-G) CEG at NBR commented there should be NEW AW18 pascal sli laptop around august.
  17. Hi, Prema) Could you please tell what does this mean? Tnx

    CLEVO@COMPUTEX 2016

Prema, so is it confirmed the 2k core GTX 1080 is a full fat desktop chip and not 1080M that can be sli'ed? Or it could be an engineering sample? Tnx

Do you know if Clevo intend to include freesync for their monitors after polaris mobile debute? Or there's still no info about such cards?) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Thanks for posting pics, Prema) My guess is that 120hz panels are same cherry picked LG ones that ship now with the same 72% NTSC colour gammut. I had my hopes they update new laptops not just in internals, but refresh exterior a little bit, facelift if you wish) The real letdown of Clevo laptops is the keyboard. P6xx kb is such a pain. Ok, now it has 3 section color lighting, but it's not enough. Sager should release P775DM2 for sure, though) At least DM series is future proof for new cpus and gpus. Do you, Prema, think this is all Clevo's got under the sleeve this year? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Prema, could you shed more light on what exactly happened? Why hundreds of grateful users has to struggle because of one person? Maybe there's something we can do... Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Nice one, Prema) Will give it a shot as well. What about V2 for AW18 GTX970M/980M?)
  23. Prema, desktop CPU FTW in 17" body!!! But for using it in sli dual PSUs are a must. P377SM-A with 4910MQ and dual 980M can push up to 310-320W during 3DMark11, no overclock. But the main problem remains with all 17" Clevo laptops - No IPS displays. They should work on that in the first place) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  24. Wow!! Did you use 330W PSU? What was the power draw with this overclock?) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  25. For 24/7 i'd recommend any highest overclock you can achieve with no voltage bump. For benching - there're no limits! Just make sure your temps are in safe range, not more than 85C.
