PhreakStang
Considering going a little overboard for the sake of fun. Considering a dual lga2011 asus board with a pair of i7-3820's in it if that's possible. Says Intel Xeon e5 family cpus but since an i7-3820 is lga2011 I'd assume it would work unless the cpu's themselves do not support dual cpu's. Assuming it works, anybody got any input on why this wouldn't accomplish anything besides the overcoming of the money obstacle?
James Michael Acierto
only the e5-24xx and above series have mp support and its prerequisite 2x qpi minimum though the i7 would boot in the board in uniproc mode
