Control panel>open IDT>Advanced>Uncheck enable power management>Main> Maxx Audio 3 Movie preset>Waves> MaxxBass 55-65>MaxxTreble 55-65>MaxxStereo 80>Equalizer>Default Preset>Speakers / Headphones>Test speakers twice>Close IDT>Again open IDT Speakers / Headphones>Test speakers, now speakers are properly configured (repeat "test speakers" after every graphics driver update) Improved sound quality and no Hanging/Freezing upon launch (Win 8), fixed Windows compatibility triggering; randomly not playing system sounds e.g. UAC.
