doktoil makresh
Hi all, I bought a WWAN card for a Thinkpad x280 and I'm stuck with error 1802 (card not being whitelisted) As being instructed, I dumped the BIOS using a CH341a controller. However I can't patch it using UEFIPatch (outputs "error" with no other detail). I tried to dump it many times, just in case, always the exact same content. So I'm a bit stuck and I'm looking for some help. I'm attaching the dump just in case someone could take a quick look to tell me why I can't patch it, or if some people can patch it for me (I'm just looking to remove this damn whitelist). Thanks in advance, Damien bios.zip

In Lenovo ThinkPad X280, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread: So, to create bios backup (dump) you need use hardware SPI programmer only. doktoil makresh
Hi Klem, thank you for your answer. This is the programmer I used to dump the BIOS. I've added my request into your thread for removing the whitelist. Thanks a lot

You can read how to prepare your bios dump (with using hardware SPI programmer) in this thread: Correct size for your bios dump it is 16 MB (16 384 KB). doktoil makresh
I'm not facing this issue. My laptop is playtime different tones. There is an android app "Lenovo Diagnostics" which record the music and translates it to an error message. But I'll try following these instructions to sign the BIOS image prior flashing the x280 Edited May 30 by doktoil makresh
doktoil makresh
Answering myself: this does not work, as 'TPMABIOS' text string is absent of BIOS image (both original and modified). Can you please remove wwan whitelisting and enable advance menu on this BIOS image?https://cloud.makelofine.org/index.php/s/M7MzHBeHooGZkCp
