Hi!

I checked your file bios dump, unfortunately it's not correct.

You need to read your bios dump from your bios chip again, may be multiple times and compare them in any hex editor (for example HxD), all dumps should be identical.

If you will meet with some problems with read bios dump from your bios chip, then try to use different software version.

All software versions for Ch341A programmer I placed into this link:  https://www.sendspace.com/file/zqatr9

I recommend you use software AsProgrammer_1.4.1

Ok, thank you for checking my previous bios dump.

Today i'll try make several dump and compare them to get valid consistent dump.

Hi, Klem!
Here is the Lenovo x250 BIOS. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-3z_kWScn8_UUXH5medIIJ-Qf4rXyfzH
Please remove the whitelist and, if possible, add an advanced menu.
Thank you for your help.

Hi!

In Lenovo ThinkPad X250, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread:

So, for creating backup (dump) of bios you need to use hardware SPI programmer.

Yes, I have this one, exactly the same. The BIOS file that I sent is just a dump read using this programmer...

Hello Klem,

I would like to change the WWAN and WLAN cards, and access the advanced BIOS menu, on my X250. Could you please help me? Link to BIOS file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lGD-79yO7ABc8rW44ltYuwu-6nZjtF_s/view?usp=sharing.

Thank you in advance!

Hi!

Ok. If you want, I can unlock hidden advanced settings in your bios, also I can unlock WWAN and WLAN whitelist. If you will agree, in this case, just tell me.

Done :)

Received beer from you. Thanks.

Ok. Your unlocked bios done.

Download and extract archive hazelriver.rar

File bios.bin it is your unlocked bios.

Don't forget to Erase bios chip before you will start Write chip!

Please be careful with change any settings in bios setup menu! Before you change any settings in bios, you must absolutely exactly know what you want change and how! Don't try to disable Intel graphic card!
If you set any settings to wrong value, then laptop break and can't start! In this case you will need to recover your bios with SPI programmer device.

1.  All hidden additional menus and settings in bios setup menu - unlocked

2.  WWAN and WLAN whitelists - unlocked

Hi!

What the laptop model? You can upload your corrupted bios dump into any fileserver, and post the link. I can take a look.

Hi!

I messed up an intel csme update on my x260 and my tpm stopped working.

I have tried re-running the update, clearing the chip and cmos, reflashing the bios, but i can't get it to work.

I assume I somehow corrupted the me rom and I will need to reflash it.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Hi!

Have you tried updating your Intel ME version? Did you keep a backup of your BIOS file before attempting the update?
