If you read both your BIOSes correctly, without errors, then when you flash them back (correctly, without errors), your laptop should turn on and work without problems. Could you inbox me some basic instructions. How much would it cost in necessary hardware to do a successful mod of my bios ? I am wanting to remove the whitelist of wifi adapters so I could get wifi 6/6e. In Lenovo ThinkPad W541, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread: So, to create bios backup (dump) you need to use hardware SPI programmer.
