Binarious
I found a NVIDIA 980m for sale that claims to be g-sync enabled and when I asked about it, the seller replied that it will work with any G-Sync enabled Clevo laptop. The laptop I want to put it in is the Clevo P150SM-A, if it will work. So, does any of this make sense and can my laptop be G-Sync enabled? Thank you! 01001101
Khenglish
No it cannot. Gsync requires the nvidia card to directly output to the display. Sm series laptops send display output through the integrated graphics to the display and cannot be changed. The card will still work fine though, just without gsync.
Khenglish
Apparently G-sync cards do have issues with non-g-sync laptops. michael.blast had a problem with one and is selling it:
