Cheator
I bought a 2GB 680m with a Dell vbios and would like to use it in my Clevo d900f. The card boots fine but only shows as a vga in bios and I cannot load any drivers in windows other than the MS basic display adapter. I'm a bit weary of flashing a 4gb vbios. Nvflash stopped my attempts with a Board ID mismatch error. Can I force flash a clevo or nvidia 4gb rom? Can I edit the existing rom and change anything and make it fully work in a clevo? Is there a 2gb 680m clevo rom already? 2gDell_680m_original.rom

Thelargechic
Old post but if you got this to work definitely post in the D900F owners lounge. So far the only known working 680m is the 4gb Clevo.

Hi, I have a 780m in my AW17 and I've flashed the bios no problem with 'Nvidia GTX 780m - 'OC edition' - rev02'. No errors or anything, however when I go back into windows Nvidia Inspector shows the bios as the original (80.04.AF.00.03) not as the new modded SVL7 one and all the overclock options are still limited as if its still stock. Its strange though because if i relaunch NVFlash it shows the flashed bios as the new modded one (80.04.B3.00.10)... This is the first time using a modded vbios so im guessing im missing something...? I've not done anything within windows, ie drivers etc. Its using the most current Nvidia driver Thanks for your help in advance guys 9 hours ago, Klem said: Please explain exactly what you mean. Over on Notebook review there is a thread for most enthusiast grade laptops including the D900F. If he got the Dell 680m 2gb to work im sure they'd be very happy to know. Currently only the Clevo 4gb version of the card works properly. It'd be a cheaper alternative to the 4gb atleast.
