1. I am running the 331.82 drivers already. This is the setup I have that is stable and doesn't have problems:

    The modified bios is: Clevo 670mx (3GB) - 80.04.58.00.03_'OC edition'_rev02

    from the forum.

My system bios is the stock np9150.

As soon as I go above +135, like +150, and slightly increment the voltage, I am already crashing/ automatically resetting the settings to 0/0 in inspector. The temps never go past 65 C either so I'm not overheating during these crashes. The 0.837 voltage is just from my idle state, It is 0.925 under load conditions with the above settings.

MSI afterburner/evga precision won't let me modify voltage. And the 3d mark tests don't pick up the oc changes. Only when I use inspector, is when 3dmark properly runs the current settings.

    Post here your stock vbios.

  2. I use intel 7260ac on 2,4 GHz and have the same problem. I tryed 2 different laptop and both have this issue. I tryed all intel drivers, but it no solved. In internet very much guys have the same problem with 7260ac.

  3. Atomizer

"The update.bat file runs the AFUDOS.exe with the particular BIOS ROM file, i.e. AFUDOS ms_gx740.rom /p /b /n with AFUDOS from a different BIOS folder should give me the right flash?"

    Yes, that right.

  4. Hello all,

I've just flashed with the 223 unlocked (overclocking addition) bios and it seems to be running great.

My keyboard lights have gone out, which is annoying, they were out at first and the function keys brought them back, but now they're out again.

I tried reading through the thread and following, best I could tell, the keyboard light fix was supposed to be included in the updated bios on the 1st page.

    Any suggestions?

PS. Awesome work on this bios

    Thanks,

    Dmitriy

    1. Extract the contents of the Fixmykb.rar file to your bootable USB flash drive. Once you have booted off the USB drive, simply type fixmykb and you should see a flash completion screen immediately. Remove the flash drive and power down the system.

    2. Wait ten seconds and then power up the system and enter Windows. Once in Windows, turn on the lights with the switch button and you should have a backlit keyboard now, use FN+F4 to brighten the keyboard or FN+F3 to dim it.

    3. Now just in case this did not work then reboot the system and wait until you are in Windows, press FN+F4 a couple of times and the keyboard should be backlit now.

    4. If after all steps the lights are not working by now, please reinstall the ATK drivers again.

  5. This is pretty frustrating.

I have tried both og Klem´s uploaded bios and I am still only able to OC the ultrabay with 135MHZ...

    nvidia_20131129_122014.png

My main card was flashed succesfully the fist time i tried but the ultrabay still eludes me.

I am sure I am doing everything correctly, can you guys see what the problem might be?

When you flashed videobios correctly you will see in the window Nvidia Inspector in right side of the number BIOS, inscription "modified".

  6. @Klem Nice stuff, thanks! I was able to run the second GPU OC'd to 250MHz, but past that (at least in Bioshock Infinite benchmark) stuff crashes. I notice that voltages for my internal GPU run higher because of unlocked voltage offset, so I guess I would be able to push to +400MHz for second GPU if voltage was unlocked here too. Please unlock this or set it to +200mV like I have for my internal GPU!

    Read my post #1490.

  7. Hi

I can buy i7-3610QM for low price, but I am not sure if GE70 with i7 and i5 have this same mb.

I just want to be sure if it is the same situation as in PC, that I can change CPU without problems.

    Actually I have got GE70 with i5.

MSI gave the same bios for i5/i7 version.

    My GE70 was selling with i5-3210m (which I have bought), i5-3230m, i7-3610qm, i7-3630qm.

Yes, you can upgrade your GE70 from i5 to all model i7 (2 and 3 generation).

  8. Put the folder with this program and files directly on the drive C: and after running the command prompt, navigate to this folder (command cd), and only then starts the bat. If say short, you need to perform bat and other programs from your folders with them.

    C:\Windows\system32

    cd..

    C:\Windows\

    cd..

    C:\

cd "name of your folder with files"

C:\name of your folder with files\backup.bat

    Enter

    Good luck!

  9. Unfortunately, this is the most stable overclock I can get by only overclocking the core clock: http://i.imgur.com/mDxIRIz.jpg

My VDDC drops from 1.0370V to 1.0120V within a few minutes of running a heavy app/game. I can get +450 on the core clock while it stays at 1.0370V but it gives me a "display driver failed" error when it drops to 1.0120V. I got a beta EC that is supposed to help with overclocking from the msi forums but that didnt help as well. Is there any way to make it stay at 1.0370V ?

Just try to set 1,050V or 1,075V on core.
