I know it, but I just didn't be sure if MSI didnt lock motherboard for other CPUs. For example. If you buy GE70-0ND you MUST have i5+gtx660m, and if you want to change CPU have to have mb from i7 and CPU's from other MSI's laptop. I want to buy i7 from Acer's laptop.

So laptop's CPU's are as PC's CPU's? Thanks.

Hi I can buy i7-3610QM for low price, but I am not sure if GE70 with i7 and i5 have this same mb. I just want to be sure if it is the same situation as in PC, that I can change CPU without problems. Actually I have got GE70 with i5. MSI gave the same bios for i5/i7 version. My GE70 was selling with i5-3210m (which I have bought), i5-3230m, i7-3610qm, i7-3630qm.

For GE70 and GE60 Notepal U3 is the best. With U3 i had max 74C with OC

Can you tell me, why do you want overvolted? For my GTX 660M everything is ok with +135/+500 but with +250/+500 state P0 is locked after 10/15mins playing 75C (in stress test I didn't get it, never o,O) Maybe a bit overvolted will fix it.

I gave on pendrive win8 bios to programming from MSI's site E1756IMS.514. No, I had bad luck and I have been destroyed the chip. Time for me GE70 - i5-3210m + GTX 660M In stress only gpu, the highest temperature is 82C (without modding notebook), I removed bottom part and used 230mm cooler 600rpm (Cooler Master Notepal E1) Core 1200MHz Memory 3000MHz I will use new paste (Gelid GC-Extreme is the best ) and use some thermopad on heatsink with aluminium elements, because my Notepal E1 can do more with this extra "home radiator" Maybe I will get less than 75C with OC.

RMA said that motherboard has been damaged and they can repair it for 300euro O.O What I should do now? Im not sure that mobo has been damaged after "interference bios" how they call on it.

Yes, you can but only +135Mhz for vcore. It is limit. memory can be oc without limits. (safe value for my GTX660m is +500Mhz) CPU cannot be oc, because i5-3210m, i5-3230m, i7-3610m, i7-3630m are locked CPUs (multiplier). Maybe with BLCK ~ +5%, but not worth it. So.. If this mod will change some bytes in BIOS and I wanna send nb to RMA, simply reflash BIOS on official will recovery vbios for my GTX660m? I do not want to lose warranty.
