svl7, any chance of an unlocked 2.07 BIOS with no whitelist for those still using Windows 7?

i can safely confirm that the BIOS works with my Y580 (windows 7 version). BIOS shows v2.07. No whitelist for WLAN cards (using an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235, same as above), but BIOS is not expanded (i.e. no unlocked hidden functions), just basic BIOS functions as default. Have not tested with any 3D games yet to see what the BIOS has fixed, but so far my system is running fine.

has anyone else tried flashing the above unlocked 2.07 BIOS for their Y580? Encountered any problems?

Thank you svl7 for responding. we know we have no right to demand anything from you, but yet you're taking the time and effort to unlock the shitty BIOS that we currently have on our Y580. So take your time and we hope to to see the a proper unlocked 2.07 BIOS real soon. Cheers.
