  1. I dunno why but after some nvidia driver updates i can no longer OC my core clock speed, it will OC but as soon as you restart the PC it will default back to stock speeds until you redo the OC again. Never used to do this.
  2. I have tested the new bios with the p170em fans and the p150em fan profiles Yes the p170em had lower temps cause the fans were on 90% of the time, even when word processing but the p150em fan profile was much better for noise and temps were no different to the p170em under load where it counts. I think the people saying it overheats with the p150em are either OCD about temps or have overclocked it, cause before this bios you were using the p150em fan profiles and didnt complain then.
  3. You managed to fix the cpu throttling when using Dgpu? Me love you big time ill help test. Got a P150Em and a 3740QM
  4. If you change stuff on XTU you need to delete the TS .ini file otherwise TS loads the that it was set to before it wont re read this data, try that and see if it changes.
  5. IS the p150em going to see the XTU enabled? flashed the 1.0.2 version the fans seem to spin up more did you change the EC?
  6. Cause i always like to have the least amount of software running things? Is it possible at all is all im asking, getting anywhere with the p150em XTU BIOS?
  7. Perma could you enable XTU on a p150em bios keeping the P150EM EC and ill test for you please? Is it even possible to even make a cpu go turbo all the time like Throttlestop though a keyboard shortcut?
  8. So you can conform that XTU does indeed change the TDP value? Prema there is your answer.
  9. No its disabled all the time the CPU is at 70C and if i play crysis 3 or Arma 3 the cpu is locked to 2.7Ghz close the game it will go up to 3.5Ghz its a I7-3740QM, im not the only one who has this. Any way to modd into the bios like FN + 8 to force CPu to turbo all the time? Would be awesome id test that.
  10. Sorry i flashed back to you p150em BIOS but i can remember XTU allowed me to change the valves and saved them on a reboot it also allowed me to change the memory frequency and timing perfectly fine, only thing it wouldn't let me do is change the turbo ratio if i set it to 37 and applied it would set it correctly as soon as the laptop restarted or shut down it would revert back. I would try a BIOS out if you modded a p150em with XTU, the P170EM bios seems to play a bit with the temperature i was getting 52-55C on each core idle on P150EM BIOS i get 35-40C. Can you not stop it from disabling turbo when using the DGPU i know someone could overclock their GPU and CPU and then fry their system but if they are flashing modded BIOS's they should be aware of these things anyway. I play ARMA 3 and i have to use throttle stop other wise i loose 10fps cause its CPU heavy game.
  11. I have flashed your p170em bios on my p150em what do you need me to check?
  12. When is the xtu p150em version coming out and can you solve any of these issue? CPU turbo diabled when dGPU active GPU fan not turning off after GPU is sleeping and temps are down. Cheers
  13. had to go back to stock vbios as it was making my laptop buzz like there was a wasp in the laptop, one good thing is flash this then back to stock seemed to fix my issue of it not letting me overclock the memory. Now at 850Mhz/2400Mhz Edit reverting to original bios didn't solve the memory reset problem. Is it possible someone who can over clock their clevo 680 memory send me their bios please. Is it possible to still keep the throttling when on battery as im sure running on battery at full clocks will kill the laptop battery as mine makes a very loud buzzing noise.
  14. Flashed the Clevo 680m vbios in the first thread with NVflash for windows and it worked fine solved my issue of the 680 not allowing me to increase the memory clocks was just resetting them every time i changed them. at 900Mhz/2400Mhz gets to around 88C when running Heaven 3.0 I take it 1v VDDC is the stock voltage? Also is that temperature fine?
