Hello Klem ,I'm trying to upgrade a M17XR4 for my son, from a GTX660M to the GTX1070 . The laptop has the1920x1080 60Hz display screen but I kind of jumped the gun and bought a GTX1070 card before I thoroughly researched everything. I've recently read that the 120Hz 3D display is needed , is this correct or is there a work around somehow ,do you think installing an unlocked Bios would help like the A15, which is what mine is now.

Hi everyone I'm planning upgrading my old M17XR4 with the GTX 1070 card . It has the 3630QM processor and the GTX 660M video card with the 1920x1080 60Hz display. I'm getting a little worried about about my success , I've read on a different forum that the 10 series cards will only work the 120Hz display. Does anyone know different ? Is it possible to use 60Hz display with the 1070 card. Re
