Hi! I bought for mistake a t440p without the webcam, so i decided to look for the fru webcam codes and bought one, two, and this is the third and i changed the webcam cable to try to get my cam module working. I'm an it tecnician and i always try to be carefull when disassembling things. I can't understand why for the hell this stupid thing doesn't want to function. It shows up in windows (and functions correctly) only as microphone! I enabled the webcam module in the bios and installed all existent drivers on the earth. I tried to test my last webcam part with a linux distribution....lsusb should show me at least some kind of device but it doesn't show anything....(maybe i have to look for it a bit better). Could it be blacklisted in bios?
