I've purchased a 2nd hand notebook: MSI GS60-2PEi716SR21: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GS60-2PE-Ghost-Pro
The problem is that Device Manager and GPU-Z declare that it has "NVIDIA GRID K2" GPU which is a complete nonsense. The laptop PHYSICALLY has GTX 870M - I have checked inside.
How do I FORCE the system to acknowledge this? Format, Windows reinstall, drivers clean-up done. New BIOS didn't help either... Can't even install new drivers now
I have managed to perform the full procedure with NVFLASH using BIOS from TechPowerUP but it didn't help (Successfully updated BIOS) by using -5 -6 parameters. I have tried 3 VBIOS files, one from official website mentioned above but the GPU still presents as GRID K2 and it keeps 100% fans on What can I do to turn it back into GTX 780M?
Despite a successul flash, the GPU remains WRONG
