  1. http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/broken-gtx-980m.810697/ Seems like broken MOSFETs.
  2. Seems like similar problem, few less beeps. Hit me up if you find a solution.
  3. I have a second hand clevo laptop, its 2 years old and worked fine with the GTX980M preinstalled by the seller. I don't have much knowledge of video cards, bios sadly. Couple days ago i forgot my bootable windows 7 usb in the laptop and after a restart it booted up. I don't know what it did but it beeped 8 times and shut off. After that i booted up to my Windows 10 hoping it was just a basic driver problem. Nothing changed in the Windows 10 drivers yet it beeped 8 times and shut off. Maybe it's a hardware problem? I didn't know so i messed up with software to be sure. Deinstalling nvidia drivers, installing nvidia drivers, modding the inf file, not modding the inf file. Nothing worked, right now I'm using the intergrated gpu from intel because if i tell my WIndows 10 to use the nvidia card at bootup it runs the fans of the videocard like crazy beeps 8 times and shuts off. Is this hardware problem or software? I'm still confused. Thank you for reading!
