Problem found. The BIOS must be set under "OS Optimized Defaults" = [Other OS]. BIOS works fine now without freeze.

Same problem. BIOS and EC Updated to v3.08 MOD NVIDIA. BIOS freezes after few seconds. Windows starts normally and the Adapter works fine. I have desolder the resistor.

Hello I am new to the forum and from Germany. I am the owner of an EGPU adapter from Gerald for several days now. I have according to the instructions the BIOS Modkit flashed V3.08 with Nvidia support. The process has worked without problems only my BIOS freezes me constantly after a few seconds. I have already left the EC only on V2.07 which has led to no success. The BIOS freezes me now synonymous if I have no EGPU Adpater installed. Windows can be started but without problems with and without adapter. A few details about the system: Y510P with Nvidia 755M CPU Update to 4940MX RAM 16GB Adapter Version 2 (GTX970) When I install the Stock BIOS 2.07 again, there are no more freezes. Maybe someone can help?
