It is possible to enable it I found a schematic about it. You need change a position of 1 jumper, Shown in attached image. After this edit LED 4 will be work as HDD LED.

Thank you very much. Great BIOS mod. Never set PCI Reset to zero . It killed . you must change a bios IC. Great jon svl7. How can I enable HDD LED on Y500 laptop ?
