Thanks Richard
  2. I need help, will this help to protect the EDID from being corrupt when installing win10 on a M18xr2. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/overriding-monitor-edids?fbclid=IwAR3EDOKduw3cH_mKn0gEwR2OVZHF39KylsYyKKVPeyrwAC5Ks5OwX16RpQ8 thanks

  4. I have a M18X R2 running windows 7 with a11 unlocked bios with 980m. I have been running without an issue for over a year. I just installed EVGA precision Xoc to check fan speeds and temps and it was running fine until I restarted. Now I get 8 beeps at start up and can not get into bios. I found out that EVGA precision will affect a number of Alienware laptops, m17x r3, r4 m18x r1, r2, 17 r1, 18. I have read that it affects the bios, vbios, and display. I have removed the ssd and removed the installation for EVGA. I am in need of help to fix my new paperweight. Thanks

  8. I don't think you need the modified drivers for Windows 10 that's how my laptop originally was sent I got it used but I needed Windows 7 for my 3D printing scanning and art programs Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. I have a single 980m. Your heat sink brackets and everything should work including your SLI cable. Are you going to be running Windows 7 or Windows 10. To run Windows 7 you will need the unlocked a 11 bios and modified NVIDIA drivers. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
