@Tesla I got an idea to cover up the rest of the area where the keyboard was before but leave the fan slot open for the laptop to breathe. I took an illustration board and traced the keyboard on it and cut out a small box on where the fan is at. At least now it won't get super dusty but the fan can still breathe properly. Here is a shot of what it looks like now. .

Just did a series of 3DMark benchmarks and the results were more than what @ManyStrongWords had on his video. We both have RX480's. So I guess I could assume that GPU-Z just bugged out on me when in truth I'm already running at x8? Wolololol. Anyway, XFX GTR Black Edition rocks. It's already factory overclocked to 1338mhz. Should I still try to overclock though or is this already okay? Have max thermals of around 75c-77c

So... I just got the setup running and noticed when I opened GPU-Z that my system only runs at x2 3.0 PCI-E even under load. I saw @Tesla's video that his setup is running at x8 3.0. So I do I enable the x8 3.0 Bus Lanes? P.S. I have the XFX RX480 GTR Black Edition.

Was just informed that my package is already at my local post office to be picked up. So will be picking it up tomorrow morning. Will post an update here about the package. I'm so excited for this. I'm from the Philippines if that helps.

Thanks for that. Also, I don't know if this was already asked before but after you switched to eGPU, did your temps go down? I mean since no more heat from the internal GPU. So I'm guessing the temps should go down too right? I am concerned about the temps since this laptop is prone to thermal throttling of the CPU.

I'm so excited for my adapter to arrive. I've already bought a RX480 MSI Gaming X Variant. Just a quick question. What wattage of PSU should I buy for that card? Can you guys recommend good ones for me?
