Yes, it comes fresh out of my M17xr3, also runs on the USB-adapter..... But, I think I found my problem : the sata-interposer *argh* I'll have to get a new one...........and hope its not the mainboard....... thx Ludo -

Hi, has anything changed regarding sata / ahci modes in the modded bios ? My Samsung 840PRO SSD is not recognized by the stock bios A05 thanks Ludo

Hi, I upgraded from a AW M17xr3 to an M18r1, as both models have almost identical chipsets i planned to just move the ssd's from one unit to the other. But, surprise, the 850evo was OK, the 840 will not be recognized by the bios. Does anyone have an idea ? greetings from Stuttgart / Germany Ludo
