It would be awesome if we would be able to use our TB2 eGPU without issues.

  2. Hi all I'm selling my lovely eGPU and one potential costumers with an iMac late 2015 asked me if he can use it as simple accellerator for his professional software like After Effects and Premiere. Can you provide more information? Do I still need to install automated eGPU script? Anyone tried this, can you see

the boost using it as an external accellerator and keeping using iMac 5k display as always?

    thanks all for the help!

  3. @lucas979797 Yes, do you still need it? It runs in 4K on a LG UltraWide. 2xAA?

And finally photos of my implementation (did with a friend of mine who is a super expert)

Just one plug for power, a frontal fan and connected the PCIe power with one cable

The box works ok closed thank to a new 1cm fan in the front of the box. Anyway its get too hot so i'm planning to put bigger fan in the gfx card and makes big holes in the chassis.

  4. Hi all! I've searched the forums without luck. I've completed my Mac mini monster setup:

    Mac mini 2014 os X 10.11.6

    i5 2,8Ghz

    16GB RAM

    2 x SSD (Sata3 + PCIe)

Akitio with Nvidia GTX 970 4GB

Everything works like a dream, it is incredible but... when the Mac mini sleep for a long time it doesn't wake up anymore, it seems like it turn of completely. For example i left my Mac mini few hours ago since i needed to go to bed, this morning the Mac mini was turned off.

Can it be a kernel panic? Can it be sleep mode?

    Any hint? Thanks so much!
