I haven't used the mSATA, but I am using the original CPU that came with my r3. I run the a11 bios unlocked with gfx set to PEG directly in bios, running a Quadro K4000M, works far better than my old 6970m. JD -

Tested several versions of this, all work great. I dont necessarily need any of the options, but that's not for Dell to decide. Lol -
Did you ever get it figured out? What brand 780m? If it's dell/alienware, try finding the oem driver for the machine it normally comes installed in. Either that or mod the inf to match the hw id.

I have an r4 board in my r3, too. Everything works fine, though I hate that there is no longer on the fly switchable gfx. I hope you get your charging issue squared away. JD -
Looks great, can't wait to try the k4000m dell vbios. Card arrives in 2 days!
