  1. I would suggest to get the Intel wifi card with your base config cause it will have 3 antennas installed, if you get the Dell one you will have to do the wiring yourself since it comes with 2 (at least that was the case with the R2).
  2. Did you try to make a clean install? Those are the best drivers I have tried so far, broke 6k on 3dMark11, no problem with games or with my Dell U2410 monitor either...
  3. The most exciting of all should be the new 330W PSU. Everything else would mean nothing if it wasn't for that, now you have more headroom to push the laptop even further, too bad you won't have an R2 to try and see if it will recognize it... (or will you?)
  4. ^^That's always a good reason to go with the best option possible
  5. ok, I recalibrated both the laptop and the Dell monitor, the laptop achieved 245.52 cd/m^2 with dE=0.32 and the U2410 251.42 cd/m^2 with dE=0.02 (I created a custom profile) The RGB LED is simply amazing (even though a bit reddish) and has nothing to be afraid of next to the U2410
  6. It is still a laptop though (even if it uses a desktop CPU) so we can compare the most powerful laptop offered by Clevo vs the most powerful laptop offered by Dellienware.
  7. In terms of performance the X7200 still beats the M18x but it would take 2 PSUs in parallel and a desktop CPU (poor battery life), plus the design needs improvements... so overall I prefer the M18x
  8. What sucks though is that here in US the latest models like those from HTC come with a 3-6 month delay contrary to EU and most of the time with less features... that's why I am thinking of getting an iPhone but with this delay I am reconsidering..
  9. Thanks for clarifying that LVNeptune and welcome to T|I
  10. The GPUs should be included on your base config, if you order them yourself separately, they will cost more and you may never receive them... (same happened with the 5870M)
  11. With default clocks I am playing Metro 2033 everything maxed out and the GPU fans never kick in either, only the CPU fan is on and that's because I have it OCed
  12. I prefer the Dell monitor, it is brighter, better viewing angles, bigger size and for $485 after taxes and shipping it is really hard to beat.
  13. Too bad Intel doesn't have any model able to compete with that...
  14. I will ban you for trolling and then you will have to unban yourself LOL

For work I enjoy the 16:10 ratio of both screens, it's something I would have a really hard time to get used to otherwise
  16. Not in my case, no flickering at all, the only flickering I get is when I overclock the GPUs and have an external monitor attached, other than that no problem.
  17. That monkey moves better than spiderman... crazy dude... LOL
  18. Yeah the 480M was a fiasco...
  19. nope, I would rather grab the HTC Sensation, but I think I gonna wait (I think...)

I got the Dell U2410 and I am completely satisfied for the price (thanks to Brian for the coupon) and its quality (especially after the calibration)
