^^^yes that, the rest can easily be upgraded and they will cost less when purchased separately. On a side note, in case they offered a 120Hz display I would go with that even if the 3D is not working

I ended up with Spyder 3 Pro, I bought it from amazon Amazon.com: Used and New: Datacolor DC S3P100 Spyder 3 Pro The results can be found here (check post #11, it has the best results so far)

You could preconfigure the alienhead with a different color and then swap it since the command center all it does is to write to the firmware of the device but then you would be stuck with it... Another thought is that you could experiment with the XML file and change it manually.. (there is a chance they disabled the option from within GUI but not from the program itself)

I wonder if swapping the Alienhead from an R2 to the R3 would work... (probably not because of the circuit board and the firmware... but it would worth a try)

If they had an RGB-LED 1200p (not possible with 18.4" unfortunately) I would buy 2 of them not only one...
