  1. wow. Close to 5 years at 5 posts and still not a promoted user. Can someone PM me this file? edit: nevermind LOL promoted right after posting this
  2. Wow I never new these machines had pretty bad cooling systems for their specs, and to think I was thinking of getting one 3 years ago. Here's a quick thread I was able to find trying to tackle this issue:
  3. Bios update isn't really the first thing you do when dealing with bad temps but may help. I don't have that model but those are bad temps especially after a repaste, you might want to recheck your paste job. While you're at it check your HS if its flat and makes good contact with the die. Also what specs do you have?
  4. Hey thanks. It might be a while before I can try this bios out but good to know it exists. @jackynikola Doesn't the P6xx series have a mux switch for switching between dgpu only and optimus (igpu+dgpu)? Does hackintosh still see the igpu when in dgpu mode? I thought the mux bypasses the igpu, thats how this model is able to have gsync and optimus on the same platform, just not used at the same time.
  5. I went through this entire thread but found no mention of the P770DM(-G) model. Is there an unlocked bios for this? Also can the vbios version ever cause incompatibilities. Just asking since I have a P770DM-G but it uses a 980m made for the ZM model. Don't fully know what the difference is but it was enough to cause grief trying to get Prema's vbios for it. Also do you include a flashing software that has safeguards to help prevent wrong bios flashing? I know prema uses a his own nvflash for vbios but IDK if the same can be done for a system bios.
  6. Pretty sure this has been mentioned before but it'd be neat to see dual bios or bios chip sockets. This will offer protection when flashing bios and make bios modder's lives easier. Also more panel options in general for all the companies out there. I'm sure this will be available later but Eurocom doesn't offer the 4K 17" panel on the P770DM (Sky X6) only on the P870dm and the new P775dm. Now for the more crazier ideas... extendable feet! Lol. So not so crazy but it would nice if I didn't have to carry erasers or bottle caps with me everywhere just to prop up the laptop for better airflow. And being extendable/retractable would make sure it wont have parts sticking out of the chassis and can fit inside bags. Also it should be sturdy to fully support the weight of the machine and forceful typing.
