I happen to have an MSI GeForce 970 100ME. I've never seen games go above 3GB of video memory in MSI Afterburner, so I don't think it's much of an issue. That being said, stuff like this should be disclaimed within the box and what not.

I used to own one of their netbooks back in the day. The thing ran like absolute garbage. As for the higher end stuff, I've seen worse from companies like ASUS.

Avoid trying to use in-game benchmarks if at all possible. Those are often not representative of the actual game's performance (i.e. Arkham Knight)
