So, I replaced my laptops BIOS with this unlocked BIOS version (v2.0x BIOS) so I could use an alternate wireless card. However, I've noticed extreme loss in computer performance. In general, I notice that my Intel® HD Graphics 4000 chip is much slower than before. I can't even play the Windows 7 animations without extreme stuttering anymore. So, I attempted to look at the BIOS settings to see if I could fix the problem myself. After digging through the power settings I found a power saving mode that was enabled for the chip, so I disabled it. I didn't really notice a difference. I've also attempted a complete reinstall of my operating system to see if the issue was on that end. I've attempted using Ubuntu, and multiple versions of Windows. This didn't fix anything. Can I replace the BIOS with what I had before, or maybe fix the issue by changing some settings in the BIOS? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
