Mostly the Card is damaged,i also had this Kind of Trouble with some GTX 570M,GTX 580M,GTX 670M and GTX 675M in MS-1761. it was always a damaged Card. You also will get this Problem when you use a Dell GTX 675M with MSI Vbios.

You can use the following Nvidia GPU`s in GT70 ONC: GTX 460M,GTX 560M,GTX 570M,GTX 580M,GTX 670M,GTX 675M,GTX 670MX,GTX 675MX,GTX 680M,GTX 770M,GTX 780M,GTX 880M,GTX 970M,GTX 980M. This is not a comolete List,but for this Cards you can get a MSI Vbios. The cheapest Way to Upgrade i think is to use a GTX 675MX with OC Vbios. The Card Price is nearly 160€ and the Performance is with OC Vbios 5500 to 6000 Points in 3Dmark11.

The better Way to Upgrade the GPU in GX660 is to use a GTX 670MX or GTX 675MX. With OC Vbios You will get 5000 to 6000 Points in 3Dmark11. I tried both Cards in a GT660 ,i think a GTX 680M will also work in this Barebone. All Cards are Kepler GK104.

Hello It is possible to use GTX 770M in MS-16F2,but You need another Heatsink for Kepler Chips. You also can modify your old Heatsink. The MSI Vbios you find at Techpowerup. I have a OC Vbios for it,but i don`t know how to upload here.
