I decided to test this. Amazing. It barely gets any hotter without a cooler. Genius design on their part. However I like the placement the cooler gives me on my dekstop. Though I doubt I will plug it in anymore.

I think I will pass on the mod for now. I was just responding since there was no update on it in a while.

Just tried the currrent GT60 bios, works good, but missing ram settings.

Paul, When you get the chance to test, I will be very interested in your results. I have seen these do amazing things for localized cooling, but watch your other temps, this case only has one main fain, so all of the cooling for the other parts (HD included) is pretty much gone.

Recommended? yes. Required? no. I use the Coolermaster Notepal U2 the 2 adustable location fans means putting cooling where it needs it. The price isn't bad either, Oh, it is sturdy also.
