Fully modular psu so no disassembly needed aside from disconnecting it.

i've been out of the desktop scene for too long
Didn't know such things even exist..
NICE!

Haha yeah pretty much evolving signature Here's my newest PSU (getting it RMA due to defective chirping sound) with cables.
Nice! You've organized everything beautifully! Must suck to disassemble it all now.

Also this is the third post that I've done where the page goes blank after submitting, then when going back to the thread I find an update of my post containing my entire post.
I've been seeing a similar behavior with Tapatalk. Might be a bug in the latest 4.2.1 vb version. We will need to investigate further.

hi joker, when u say adjustable voltage do u mean being able to go past the 1.212v that is currently locked when u enter such things as kelper bios tweaker?
Can't say for sure since it's @svl7 work but judging from past modifications - yes, you'll be able to raise the voltage higher.
-
No, you should flash over a10 just as I wrote. Follow the instructions on the first post and you'll be fine.

the 840 is 100% compatible but you won't see much performance difference as iirc the chipset on your model is limiting the ssd speeds.
-
highly doubt Dell will revive it. But a M12x would be nice to see!
-
just managed to successfully flash your BIOS with menu unlocked. let's see how this runs after a while and let you know how everything goes.
fyi, running on a 3630QM
Edit: just bricked my 7720. Yay
bricked it how ? and why ? give us some details

Good purchase Brian! They give great value for the money paid.

Yeah. it's pretty sexy! I am more into daily drivers though..

Hi @svl7. Just a question, using NVIDIA drivers beyond 310.90 limits the core clock on both your and Amal at NotebookReview's versions of this BIOS mod. With yours I can use NVIDIA Inspector to go +200 and get up to 770mhz on core maximum, but for some reason with the latest drivers it will not set on boot at 950mhz, or any other of yours/Amal's frequencies? Do you have any solution to this?
Furthermore, there is an R0143C5 BIOS on the 640m LE BIOS thread on NotebookReview, which has a few revisions from your base ROM of R0143C5.
In the future, try to use the @ in front of usernames (edited your post so Marco can see it).

Oh man, that R8 V10 is so damn sexy! Here in sao paulo car show they don't even bother bringing those top end cars.

@ConkersGrillforce1337 - ok mate, closing, if you ever need it repopened again let me know.
-
Very interesting indeed.
I plan on exploring that option on my M18x-R1.. Is there a way to install a msata SSD in the M18x-R1 ? Using the free wwan port for example ?

Looks very impressive! How does it compare to the viewsonic @Brian?
