  1. That's a great job! Would it be possible to automate this? Patch the bootloader without installing Linux? It would be great to develop a tray icon for Windows, so we can switch between nVidia and Intel gpu.
  2. Hey, I recently received the Thunder2, and I really like the quality and build of this case. Would it be possible to implement the GTX970? I got my eye on the Asus GTX970-DCMOC-4GD5 which is just 170mm long. However it requires 8-pins power connection. Do you think it's possible to get a better power adapter for the Thunder2, and solder an 8-pins connection in the case? How much watt power adapter do I require? Thanks for the advice.
  3. Hello everyone, I have been digging into this, but I need your thoughts. See my blog post here: eGPU Macbook - Introduction - Qarizma Weblog I am currently stuck with the PCIe configuration that Apple uses, the CPU I am talking about supports the following configs: 1x16, 2x8, 1x8 2x4. Regards
  4. goalque, It should still be max X4. The benchmark results MUST be incorrect. Practically, and theoretically it can be x4 max. Even with bridges, the resultst should be the same. Because bandwidth is still going through one TB2 connection. Only with two TB2 connections you should be able to get better performance. Or am I stupid?
  5. That looks good, but I have some questions. Do you have any comparison of one GPU versus two GPU in CrossFire? Because normally both GPU support X16 lanes of bandwidth, Thunderbolt 2 only offers X4 bandwidth, so the bandwidth of the first card is downgraded from X16 to X4. Then your second card, runs on X1? Is this even possible? I'm very curious about the comparison as I said above. Otherwise, would it be possible to use two Thunderbolt connections, and two Netstors/or whatever. And then CrossFire them together, so you will have 2x X4 bandwidth, right? I'm just throwing my thoughts
