Hello, i'm using Prema vBios trying to overclock 980m , at 1400Mhz core 1168mV, memory clocks are stock 5010Mhz temperature is 84-85c , after a while of Heaven benchmark running gpu stops responding, computer starts beeping fans 100% and shuts off. What could be a problem since temperature is not 91c yet? Forgot to mention that PSU is Dell 330w, green wire grounded.

Hello, thank you. The last heatsink model is coming together with gtx980m kit right? It's also seperate GPU die from VRAM? I tried SM heatsink from 700m series and GPU gets lowest temperatures for me. Maybe heatsink from gtx980m is bent.

Hello, which heatsink is best for P150SM-A with gtx980m? I See P150SM have different heatsink And GTX980m came with this which is actually seperate vram from core heatsinks.

Hi Prema. Using vbios for GTX980M, but i think PSU 180W is not enough for overclocking. Can't push it too far, driver stops, or you can see fps drops. Clevo P150SM-A.

I don't know It's stock clevo p150sm, with 4700mq both repasted with Arctic MX-2. It's actually working fine now with lower memory 5250 mhz and on watch dogs loged max temp is 72c with stock fan setting

Thank you, heat is ok now as it's winter. but I see strange colorful flashing like stars on upper left side of screen sometimes in valley benchmark and watch dogs. Could it be memory too high or core?

Hello. I know this card isn't new, but maybe someone could share max stable overclocking numbers and voltage? Mine is at 1163mhz core and 1150 voltage 5254 memory, this made Valley extreme hd test 30.5fps and 1275 points.

Thanks, tried arctic silver 5 on cpu and it got worse after time, maybe because it's laptop and heatsink plate have gap between CPU die. So MX-2 works better, but for GPU is that not the same?

Hello. With moded bios of Nvidia gtx770m one time after flashing with core clock 1175mhz and voltage 1175 it did 30fps and 1285 score in Valley Extreme HD. but now max clock is 1162.7. Any way to increase it?

Hello there. Just got 2 pastes I ordered it's MX-2 and Arctic Silver 5. Repasted with MX-2 and can't believe temperature is down from 99c max to 78c max on intel memory stress test. So there was a good gap. This paste is much thicker.

it was looking like this, but that's sad that if there is gap. I guess only way to fix it is just to get thicker paste.
