Hey guys I'm new to the idea of editing my BIOS and have a question. I have a Y410P which my friend did some type of BIOS flash to and installed Windows 7 on for me but didn't authenticate it. I'm currently running BIOS v1.10 with Windows 7. This is probably a dumb question but: Will upgrading to v3.05 in order to do this wlan mod affect my ability to run Windows 7/my operating system in any way? I don't want to end up getting locked out of my computer or something. Thank you for your help.
