hi i contact them in the last days but they tell me that i need to chang the viddeo cable too (i dont completely unnderstand this, i'm not very expert), also i contact two lenovo assistance center here in Italy and they tell me that its not possible to upgrade an hd LCD with one in fhd, on the lenovo ideapad y510p. So i'm a bit cofused, also in the website that you post they wrote: "Make sure new screen has same size,resolution, backlight as your old one!"; i dont know..

hi everybody, i have a lenovo y510p with gt755m that work on 1366x768 resolution screen, thats allow me to obtend a accetable frame rate but i have some question: 1) on a 15,6'' screen is this resolution accetable, and there's many differerence in comparation with a 1080p screen? 2) i'm getting some video/picture editing, so this res (1366x768) is really uncomfortable as many peoples says? 3) is it possible upgrade the screen with a 1080p screen on a ideapad y510p? thank for the answers, best regards

hi sorry for re open this thread, but i have one last question: an ultrabay gpu is compatible with all models of y510p? for example i have the non sli model with screen resolution of 1366x768 max, it works for me? thanks

ok thanks to everybody for now i stay with one gpu, and looking for a second vga, and i will try with the mod bios then, because seems to me a lilttle bit unconfortable replace everytime the ultrabay.

Thanks for the reply, but about the third question, can you disable SLI when you are not in gaming?, or you must reboot your sistem everytime, remove the secong vga and reistall intel driver

Hi everybody, i've just bought a lenovo y510p with 1x nvidia gt 755m; and i want ask some questions: 1) what do you think about nvidia gt 755m? Its sufficent for run the newest games like far cry 4, maybe at medium settings 2) where i can find a second vga, for the ultrabay support?. And also, do came back lenovo to produce this ultrabay support? because its hard to find in Europe ( i live in italy) 3) I've read posts about gt 755m sli and intel hd 4600, but i'm not speaking english very well so, i want to ask you if i understood: if i use the sli i cannot use the integrated card, and there's no solution for disable it automatically: i have to turn off my notebook, remove the ultrabay and reinstall intel driver (evreytime??) of it i have to do just one time? thank you for the answer
