Hello Mr. Fox. Was wondering if this mod is possible on 2x 240w asus adapters for my g750jz? Really want to pull this off but i wanted to know what you think about using this mod on an asus adapter.

Hey prema! Was wondering if you could help me with my g750jz 880m 4gb. I have a modded bios that ive done myself and I can get a good stable overclock. The problem is when I increase the voltage above the default max voltage 1137mv I get a huge drop in frames. Usage is still fine and the clocks do not change. It could be a power issue but seems to be something limiting the card from actually using more voltage even tho the voltage is unlocked to 1200mv. And on top of it the power usage is dropping while I overclock instead of going up when I increase the voltage past 1137mv, really weird and haven't dealt with this before. Like when I'm at 1137mv in occt I get about 76% power usage, while at 1200mv I get about 58% power usage at the same oc. I have tried everything to see about getting past this weird limit and cant figure it out. Also just to let you know my temps are fine 75 to 80c max after hours of gaming. The only thing I can think of is if my card is hard limited to 130w max even tho I have increased the values above that and it dosn't use that much while actually gaming only in occt, or there is some implementation in the ec firmware or the bios that is limiting the mxm slot from gaining more power and in turn is limiting the power even more when I ask for more voltage. Let me know what you think about this. If you could make a modified 880m 4gb bios or if you can take a look at mine that I have created that would be awesome! And if there is something in the ec that is limiting the gpu somehow I do have a programmer and have my own unlocked bios :). So that's not a problem willing to take the leep. lol Let me know what you think and if I should pm you my bios and my modded bios. Thanks prema! Kamiccolo

Hey klem! Was wondering if you could help me out with my gtx 880m on the g750jz. Getting an issue where if I increase voltage more my frames drastically drop but at the moment this is a perfect overclock. Just wondering if you can add any special tweaks or performance tweaks. Thanks man. Core clock 1202Mhz Mem clock 6062mhz Volt at 1137 max load Power unlocked This is my own custom vbios btw just wondering if you know any other tweaks possible so I can achive a higher oc on the core. so has anyone succefully modded the gtx 880m 4gb card in the rog laptops?? Still looking for a unlocked modded bios for my laptop and don't want to use the 8 gb version just incase it screwes up my laptop. Any help would be ausome!

And here is the asus g750jz bios! The latest bios by the way issued by asus downloaded from there site. It would be whicked if I could actually control the multiplier on this laptop and the other options that should be unlocked on a so called overclockable laptop. Thanks again gurus! either set your NVidia control panel to use high performance settings and tweak some other options as well as force the dedicated card to be used ive had problems with the intel card trying to take over here and there but never know might be a driver problem

Hello bios gurus! Was wondering if I could get a helping hand with modding the g750jz bios and vbios for the gtx 880m 4gb edition! I'll post both bioses and see what you guys can come up with if possible but at the moment im not too sure how to post .roms on your site. Thank you in advance!

Hello new to this site. Was wondering I have a asus g750jz and a gtx 880m 4gb graphics card. I can modify the bios myself but I was wondering if you guys managed to make one for the asus 4gb version. If you have let me know shoot me a message or if we can talk about making a really nice one it would be sweet. Having a little trouble with modding the bios myself. Managed to get a +300 MHz clock on the core and it was stable but I got little drops now and then in performance but no overheating issues. Hoping you guys could give me a hand with editing this new bios. More use to modding older graphics cards but let me know be cool if you guys can help. Cheers.
