    980m vbios?

I have a 980m that I pulled from my dead p750ZM and put into my replacement P770ZM-G. Besides having issues with device drivers, I have other issues such as brightness controls not working. Someone suggested I get the vbios for it and install it. Where can I get this BIOS? I used to get Premamod's BIOS and other tools from their website but it looks like that is a private site now.
  2. More battery life, fully upgradable package - cpu, video, mainboard, RAM and screens. I would like to see HDMI input, PC Card and Lightning ports.
  3. Yeah, I learned about this the hard way. My Clevo P157SM has a 26% wear after 1.5 years of ownership. That # is according to hwinfo.
  4. Are there any good 3rd party cooling blocks for the P157SM? I have done the sanding on my heatsink but am not too pleased with the 3C drop in temp. How about better fans? Has anyone tried to change out the fans on the GPU or CPU blocks?
  5. For me, I am now going with Clevo/Sager. They have an awesome bang for the buck and was really pleased with my purchase from Powernotebooks.com
  6. My biggest fear is losing the striping settings of the RAID. The reason it is a fear is because of how long it takes to get my system back to where I need it. My next fear is bricking the system. It is just a PITA (pain in the ...) because I am in college right now and need to have my system running as much as possible. I know about OC'ing and such but haven't tried it since my Athlon days.
  7. I am on the fence about doing this BIOS mod. I have a P157SM Special Edition with 2 mSATA SSDs in RAID 0 along with a 1TB 7200 rpm drive. Would the flash break the RAID setup? What kind of performance increase should I expect from the 4700 cpu, 780m video card and the 32GB RAM? I know that you can reflash the BIOS to factory stock easily but is it possible to brick a laptop because a failed flash? I cannot afford to go without my laptop for long. I do have a 3 year extended warranty from Sager but I am afraid it would take weeks to fix it. Should I try the mod or not? What are your thoughts?
