Hello, sorry maybe I should create a new thread (I don't know how to do it, maybe not yet allowed to do so), I had pretty much the same config than the original post of this thread : MSI GT683R laptop (motherboard E16F2) with original GPU : GTX560M. I tried an upgrade of the GPU, bought GTX870M, with the correct adapted heatsinks. But when I put the graphic card gtx870m +heatsinks inside, I have no dispay output (even Bios access). Screen doesn't start at all. It's like if the card is not recognized. I read that there is something to do with the Kepler Card, using Optimus, and not compatible with Sandy Bridge mother boards, as the kepler graphic card is waiting that the boot seuquence been displayed by the integrated intel graphic gpu ... Is this correct, if nearly yes how can I resolv this issue ? thanks a lot for your interest to my post, and again, sorry if not in the correct place ...
