Is this Vbios compatible with the 337.88 Driver update?

After reading through this entire thread it seems like none of the updates Nvidia has pushed have, but I just want to be safe before installing a new bios willy nilly.

That sounds like a very good resolution but are the 880's going to be 8GiG models or the same as the 780's, 4GiG models?

Yeah that's the tester leaking my own old beta (without the throttle fixes & unlocked voltage) and since he neither had my permission to publish it nor gave any credit and even tells people it's done with a tool, as if he has anything to do with it (its all done in hex and has my name in it)...

Hi Prema! I got my P150SM-A from mysn.se yesterday, and flashed it with your bios. It's working great. Also I found on hadwareluxx.de a new video bios from svogt for the 880m so I installed that as well. It will work fine until svl7 releases his unlocked vbios. Keep up the good work.

Suggestion: on the first post in this thread where you list the prema bios files (links), add in the unreleased ones (unlinked) with a "coming soon" so it matches whatever you have planned on the wordpress pages (I actually came straight to the forums via google search and didn't see the wordpress site). Listing the unreleased entries like this will help ensure idiots like me don't just d/l the closest match and flash away.

When I flash my NP8268-S / P150SM-A to the bios in P15xSM_34_31_PM_v2.rar, the GTX 870M is not recognized (drivers won't install and device is listed as default display adapter instead of "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M"). When I flash back to the bios in P15xSM-A_33_33_Stock.rar, the GTX 870M is restored.

I'm curious as to what I'm doing wrong. Does it matter that the stock bioses are different for the -A vs. non-A models, but there is only 1 prema bios for P15xSM based on what appears to be the non-A version?

800m series mods will come. 880m mod is actually ready for quite a while now, those who followed our benchmarks etc are probably aware of that. It's not like we don't like to share, that would be a ridiculous assumption, especially looking at the 600m and 700m series mods, however we have some reasons to relax a bit and wait... can't ask anyone to understand this, but please... some patience would be nice. Also I have hardly seen any 800m benchmark at stock clocks or overclocked with stock vbios so far... yet so many are screaming for a vbios mod. Would be interesting to see what the refreshed cards are capable at stock...

I think all we can do is have patience and wait.

Good question... But you must read first @svl7' review on GTX 880m. Just look on the main page and you'll find out why.

He doesn't say a specific reason for not releasing it.. And yes I read the whole review

Edit: read in another topic that there are people taking credit for John's and svl7 work... This makes me sad :'(
