  1. Just out of curiosity. On desktop PC's you very much can pop in any graphics card if you have the correct port for it, no matter the brand of the desktop PC I wonder if this holds true for laptops aswell. I have a MS-1762 Laptop with a GTX 675m inside. I've seen ASUS Laptops with GTX 780m inside that have the same type of slot. In theory i could push such card inside my graphics slot (i know that it wouldn't fit in the casing) but just in theory..would it work similar like with desktop PC or is there something that makes it impossible to work.
  2. In many cases where shutdowns or even bluescreen happen, there is some electrical problem. I had shutdowns and bluescreens with just 1 game and the problem was the mainboard. After i exchanged it everything was fine. Prior to replacement i ran every test available on ram, gpu, hardrives, etc.. with no problems. I couldn't explain it but after i replaced the mainboard everything was fine. Doesn't have to be your solution but it could be one.
  3. I can only fully agree. I would even say that ASUS has pretty decent NB that are able to run those programs. I would also go for a 17" screen to see more and everything bigger on screen..very usefull for designing electrical stuff. Half of those programs don't even need something special and any mid class NB would do very nicely. 1000$ is very much enough ;-)
  4. Hi all I'm new here and i've got a Question. I would like to have an open bios for cpu overclocking but i'm very much unsure where i can get a bios for my laptop. I'm hesitating to use any MS-1762 bios and am asking for some professional to confirm what bios i need, where to get it and how to properly flash my bios. My specs are: BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version E1762IMT.50T Release Date 13.11.2012 Motherboard Model: MS-1762 Version: Rev 1.0 Serial Number BSS-0123456789 CPU: Intel [email protected] GHZ Graphics: Intel HD 4000 Driver Version 10.18.10.3621 Driver Date: 16.05.2014 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M 2GB Ram OS Windows 8.1 My Laptop is a proworx mobilitas aka chiligreen...no bios found on their site and also no unlocked one. I modified my Laptop for better cooling and this won't be a problem. I though i would supply more information than propably needed..just in case :-) Hope someone is so kind and can help me :-) many thanks in advance
