Hy together. Is it worth changing a GTX780M SLI to a GTX880MSLI in a newer Alienware 18? How much faster is that 880M SLI compared to 780M SLI? Does anyone know?

i repasted my GTX780M SLI and my i7-4930MX with Prolimatech Nano Aluminium. I must say, my GPU temps droped down from 85 to max 75. I did not see any difference for my CPU yet, still get BSOD after Overclocking my CPU. but i think that is the crap bios A08 from Alienware 18 NEW.

I never seen a vBios update with a new Bios from Dell/Alienware. i only have seen a vBios Update for the GTX 560M and that is a Long time ago. That update came from Alienware. So, nope. i dont think they will give us an updated vBios coming with a Bios update for Motherboard

Hi Mr. Fox. In many other Posts they tell us that the double Power Supply wont be recognized in the Bios. will this Alienware take the Power anyway?

i have same configuration like you. but my gpu shutterings were all away after i got the correct GPU Driver. i use latest Beta Nvidia Driver for GTX 780M SLI
